Anti-bi-metal profile

Problem
A large temperature difference between the inner and outer frame
of a door – e.g. through intense sunlight – leads to expansion of
the outer frame. This can cause distortion of the door and locking
difficulties; what we call the “bimetallic-effect”.

Solution
The skeletal design of the strip builds a flexible insulation zone
and allows different expansion rates on the internal and external
frames – this reduces distortion.
